    1. The kingdom of Mariskatania is usually a peaceful and happy place, where the townspeople fly their kites, tend their Cuddle Cows and delight in Huckle Nut cupcakes on special occasions. However, once in a while, some great evil comes a' knocking just asking for some serious smiting, and then it's up to the kingdom's appointed Hero, Sir Nathan to smite that evil and smite it good! When Queen Gobbledeegook's twin sons are kidnapped from the castle, Sir Nathan and his noble steed, Tupolev (or should [...]

    2. Sir Nathan is back in an all new somewhat silly adventure! When the Royal Twins go missing, Sir Nathan and his trusty steed Tupolev are called upon by Queen Gobbledeegook to rescue them! As they set off on their journey, they meet up with “Amazing” Grace, the castle cleaner’s daughter who wants to be a knight. Sir Nathan does not think that is a good idea. Grace hasn’t even taken any classes to learn how to be a knight and her costume is all wrong AND her “horse” (Flopsy) is a MOP [...]

    3. Review by award-winning children's book author, Diane Mae Robinson I loved book two. The silliness, the smiting, the dastardly situations, the humor, the unique characters, especially Sir Nathan and when he has 'lengthy screaming fits about the dastardly tricks of evil and how it sneaks about, ruining everything'. The author is a genius at humor and the writing is exciting and clever. The characters are well rounded and the plotting is sound. Several black and white illustrations are fun and enh [...]

    4. I thought that this was a delightful novel. Having said that, I do have to be honest and say that there was too much telling and not enough showing throughout the novel in my opinion, but that is the only negative thing I have to say. The characters were, unique, well rounded and engaging, and the plot was satisfyingly action packed. I have bought the next two books in the series and look forward to reading them.
